Overview

HPE Aruba Networking 600R Series Remote Access Points are powerful desktop Wi-Fi 6E access points that enable IT teams to deliver seamless and secure user experiences to remote power users and small branch environments. Providing up to 3.6 Gbps combined aggregate data rate (using 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands), this series delivers more wireless capacity and wider channels by taking advantage of Wi-Fi 6E and the 6 GHz band to more than double capacity to support increasing Wi-Fi demands, especially for latency-sensitive, high-bandwidth video communications. An optional high-speed LTE cellular module provides primary or backup connectivity for mission critical use cases. Multigigabit port, gigabit ports, and integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee offer a range of connectivity options. IT teams can easily extend the WAN to remote employees as part of the HPE Aruba Networking Central microbranch functionality. The 600R series includes a limited lifetime warranty.

What is new supporting point:
Stay connected using backup or primary cellular connectivity with optional CAT 12 module that includes antennas and a high-speed interface for LTE connectivity
Managed through cloud-native HPE Aruba Networking Central to extend the WAN to home offices, small offices, and temporary locations
Zero touch provisioning (ZTP) provides ease of implementation in branch offices and remote sites, without on-site technical expertise
Convenient wired connectivity with 2.5 Gbps uplink/downlink Ethernet port and multiple 1 Gbps Ethernet ports
Wi-Fi 6E access points ideal for mission-critical remote work and small branches provide flexible coverage across any two bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz) for up to 3.6 Gbps combined peak data rate

At-a-glance

  • HPE Aruba Networking 600R Series Remote Access Points are deployed and managed using cloud-native HPE Aruba Networking Central to extend the WAN to home offices, small offices, and temporary locations with built-in SD-WAN and cloud security.
Remote work microbranch capabilities include SD-WAN route/tunnel orchestration, policy-based routing, multiple active tunnels, WAN health visibility, and cloud security orchestration.
They include GPS receiver and fine time measurements to accurately auto-locate themselves.
Zero touch provisioning (ZTP) provides ease of implementation in branch offices and remote sites, without on-site technical expertise.
No mounts are needed with bundles that combine a desk stand, power adapter, and power cord to mitigate excess packaging.

  • HPE Aruba Networking 600R Series Remote Access Points offer 6 GHz coverage with up to 1200 MHz more capacity. Two 2x2 MIMO radios deliver a maximum combined data rate of up to 3.6 Gbps when configured for concurrent 5 GHz and 6 GHz operation.
Wi-Fi 6E extends support for Wi-Fi 6 features such as OFDMA, bidirectional multi-user MIMO, and target wait time (TWT) for better multi-user performance and improved efficiency.
For primary or backup cellular, optional CAT 12 module includes antennas and a high-speed interface for LTE connectivity.
You get convenient wired connectivity with a 2.5 Gbps uplink/downlink Ethernet port, a dedicated 1 Gbps uplink port, and three dedicated downlink ports.
It provides Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity with integrated Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 radio for Zigbee support and USB-port extension for connection to a range of devices.

  • The HPE Aruba Networking 600R Series Remote Access Points offer enhanced security with dynamic segmentation to remove the time consuming and error-prone task of managing complex and static VLANs, ACLs, and subnets by dynamically assigning policies and keeping traffic protected and separated.
The AP offers stronger encryption and authentication with WPA3, protected credentials/keys storage for guest access with Enhanced Open (OWE), and user and IoT access policy enforcement firewalls (PEFs).
It simplifies policy enforcement by using the PEF to encapsulate traffic from the AP to the gateway (or mobility controller) for end-to-end encryption and inspection.
For enhanced device assurance, the access points include an installed trusted platform module (TPM) for protected storage of credentials, keys, and boot code.
