Quantum LTO Cleaning Cartridges are compatible with any brand of LTO/Ultrium and ANY Generation of LTO/Ultrium drive

When you use Quantum media and hardware, you get the added assurance of more than 30 years of storage experience and service behind the entire solution.

For LTO-1, LTO-2, LTO-3, LTO-4, LTO5, LTO6, LTO7, LTO8, LTO9 tape drives. LTO Universal Cleaning Cartridge. Compatible with ALL LTO or Ultrium drives, Equipped with a computer memory chip, 50 cleanings per cartridge max.

LTO Universal cleaning tapes are equipped with a computer memory chip (just like the data tape). The chip stores various information and it has an embedded code that is recognized by the compatible drive's firmware.

Once the cleaning cartridge is used to capacity (15 - 50 uses, drive dependent), the drive will no longer accept the cleaning tape and will eject the tape, prohibiting further use.
